Mobile Game
Livly Island was an Internet browser-based game created in 2003 and was rebooted as a mobile game in 2021. In the new Livly Island, players take on the role of a "homunculus" owner and take care of creatures called livlies. The game additionally features dress-up, island decoration, and message boards for players to communicate.
The Middle Ages: In the Middle Ages, mysterious tiny creatures were secretly created through the power of alchemy. Highly sought after for their jewel-like poop, greed caused them to nearly go extinct... Modern Era: Thankfully, these creatures were resurrected in modern times by Dr. Laurent Cole Muller, a self-taught biologist based in Japan, who dubbed them “livlies.” To promote research efforts, livlies were distributed to the public as pets, and with their owners' cooperation, livly research was rekindled under Dr. Muller's grandnephew, self-taught chemist Akira Muller.
