Final Fantasy Grandmasters was a free-to-play online multiplayer spin-off of Final Fantasy XI for mobile with the closed beta test launching on June 8, 2015. It was Japan exclusive and had over 1 million downloads until Square Enix decided to shut it down in 2019.
