Blossom & Decay is an open world socio-economic simulation where thousands of players may create their own unique stories by influencing each other’s gameplay experiences in meaningful ways. It combines action combat and open-world gameplay with sandbox economy in a setting with no pre-established plots. Narrative moves through player motivated actions as they react to a constant siege of monsters and/or conflicts between themselves. There are no pre-fabricated buildings, NPC traders nor quests. Everything is created and arranged by players, from buildings and cities to respawn-points, quests, goods, trade and law.

Storyline

Blossom & Decay unfolds on the brink of a vast and perilous continent – uncharted lands where shadows stretch long and monsters surge from chasms at its edges. Here, every player stands at the threshold of destiny: no one is a mere settler – they are conquerors and survivors and must defend what is theirs, claim what is not, and wrest a living from the wild to rise from tattered beginnings to a legacy forged in stone and steel. In this world, survival is never given, it is earned through alliances forged in trust or broken by betrayal, in countless encounters both fierce and fragile. In Blossom & Decay, progress is not won by hours spent grinding, but in the mastery of skills, wealth of knowledge, strength of resources, and bonds forged between players along the way. There is no single path or right choice, players might brave the wild frontiers, raise homes and thriving cities from the ground, command mighty clans, become rich merchants, warriors of renown, stalk the land as feared outlaws, or retreat to the peace of their own land.
